PREPARED
FOR ANY
SITUATION
With its excellent uphill and downhill features, the Vipec Evo is the perfect choice for any ski touring day, in any terrain and in all conditions. Easy operation, reliable release and extraordinary power transmission establish confidence for the precise control of the skis, especially on a hard base.
Top downhill performance
Fixed, stable heel unit
Extraordinary power transmission due to the fixed, non-rotating heel unit, which, similar to Alpine bindings, always remains rigid.
Consistent optimum edge grip
Dynamic length compensation
Consistent full edge grip and unlimited agility due to the dynamic, incomparable 10 mm length compensation for the natural flex of the ski.
Lightness and performance
Optimal material mix
Maximum stability and resilience at the lowest weight due to the optimally coordinated use of high tech materials.
ALWAYS ON THE
SAFE SIDE
The integrated safety technologies of Alpine bindings with lateral release in the toe and frontal release in the heel guarantee a secure hold in any situation and prevent injuries. The high elasticity of the release and the wide range of the DIN settings between 4 and 12 provide confidence and safety, even for light-weight ski tourers.
No pre-releases
Lateral toe release
Reliable lateral release and a DIN setting in the front unit with a long dynamic travel of 26 mm to prevent pre-release. Reliable frontal release and DIN setting in the heel unit.
Reliable release in any situation
Dynamic length compensation
Consistent release at the set DIN values due to the dynamics of the incomparable 10 mm length compensation for the flexing ski.
Emergency release
Release also in ascent
Emergency release in the front unit while ascending in the event of a significant external impact.
Carbon fiber-reinforced high-tech plastics are used for the front housing. In other words: the Vipec Evo is now even more stable and longer lasting.
Climbing up to the peak with ease and getting downhill safely. Our claim is to achieve this at top performance and with the lowest possible weight. The optimal mix of materials makes the difference. Whether light glass fiber- or carbon fiber reinforced high tech plastics are used, as in the automotive and aviation industries, or high-quality metal alloys is ultimately determined by the technical requirements for optimal product safety and durability and a powerful performance without compromise.
Bindings are subject to extreme stress. To ensure a long-lasting and reliable high-precision function Fritschi’s designers are using metal components wherever high dynamic forces are acting on the system, e. g. hardened steel, forged aluminum or metal alloy components made by complex processes.
