do my bootsfit my bindings?

That’s a good—and, above all, important—question! Whether your touring boot is compatible with your Fritschi touring binding depends on various factors. But to help you make sure you really have the right boot, we’ve put together a simple checklist for you.

why is compatibility so important?

Recent developments have led to a wide variety of technically different models, especially when it comes to boots. As a result, not every boot fits perfectly into every binding anymore.

To help you ensure that your ski boot is compatible with your binding, we’ve put together some lists for you. You can find them under “Compatibility” on our website. There, you’ll find a list of the most common boot models that are compatible with our bindings.

Why Fritschi?

Your binding has to offer a powerfull downhill performance and a reliable release at the set DIN value. That’s exactly why we at Fritschi have been developing and manufacturing ski touring bindings for over 60 years—entirely Swiss-made, right in the heart of the Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Our manufacturing facility is TÜV SÜD certified. Every binding is tested multiple times for effective release in accordance with the DIN standard for alpine bindings. Lateral and frontal—exactly where it matters most in an emergency.

The result is a binding you can trust: developed, tested, and manufactured in the Swiss Alps.

a new format

Together with the Association of German Mountain and Ski Guides, we’d like to introduce you to our new “Stay-Fit” series. Staying in shape pays off—and not just in the winter. That’s why we’ll regularly show you simple exercises that you can easily do on your own. This way, you can start laying the foundation now for the upcoming winter season, whether you’re on the slopes, ski touring, mountaineering, or snowshoeing.

In the first episode, a mountain guide and co-owner of Mountain Elements showed us how to improve our balance at home. From basic balancing exercises to squats on a balance board, he demonstrates three exercises so we, too, can stay fit.

Check out the first episode on our Instagram channel, more will follow soon.
