Education / Activities

Academically, I am an Architect and hold a master's degree in urban planning. While studying architecture, I discovered photography as a medium of artistic expression and documentation, which I have pursued professionally to this day.
After graduating from architecture school and starting work as an architect, I began to professionalize my passion for mountain sports, training to become a mountain guide.
Today, I am a mountain guide for the National Association of Mountain Guides of Chile (Asociación Nacional de Guías de Montaña de Chile - ANGM), to which I dedicate myself 100%, along with my work as an adventure photographer, specializing in alpine climbing, rock climbing, skiing, and mountaineering.

Highlights

In general, my goal is always to be in the mountains. It’s my classroom and daily office, whether I’m guiding, teaching, or working on a photography or audiovisual production.

During the summer seasons, I try to climb as much as I can. Living in southern Chile, the rock climbing season is shortened to less than half of the year. The rest of the year, I’m always in search of snowy terrain.

Regarding ski touring, I live in a privileged place, where I have access to a wide range of options. The Araucanía region of Chile has a high concentration of skiable volcanoes, and around them are many kilometers of terrain that turn white in winter, offering plenty of opportunities to explore and find easy, medium, and difficult lines to ski. It’s a territory that inspires creativity.

Personally, I like to set up the Xenic 10 bindings with lightweight skis, which are a great ally in spring conditions.

Winters in the volcanic areas can be very cold, which gives the snowpack highly variable and often technical conditions (ice). For that, the Tecton 13 model is a great ally due to its safety and versatility.
